I was feeling chest pressure/tightness during my workouts and decided to see my GP. My GP sent me to have a Cardiac CT Scan at Carson Hospital where the results showed there was significant blockage. Was then sent to Dr Arora who immediately admitted me via the ER to the hospital after reviewing the results of the Angio CT scan. The next morning, I was having an angioplasty that was stopped because Dr Arora found more complex blockage. One week later I had 5 stents installed and averted a major attack. Thanks to Dr Arora in recognizing my situation I am alive today to write this testimonial. Dr Arora and his staff are 100% concerned with your welfare and genuinely care for their patients. I feel I am in good care and now able to make my life changes with confidence that I'm under the care of Dr Arora.

Dr. Arora has been my cardiologist & primary care doctor for 22 years. He saved my life 22 years ago when I walked into the Emergency Room in 2002 while I was having a heart attack. Since then he has referred me to other specialists for my medical needs. He talks to you, listens to your concerns. He spends time with during office visits. He is current on new test procedures and medications. He is proactive with his medical care programs for his patients. What I like most is he himself takes the meds he prescribes and takes the same tests he incorporates in your annual health care plan. I owe my life to Dr. Arora and have no reservations for recommending him and his staff to prospective patients! G Fischer Jr.

After several rounds of office tests that pretty much left me in a normal and good health status a very special thank you is due to Dr. Arora who endured my endless negative questions about starting heart meds at my ripe age of 71. Dr. Raveen aggressively but diplomatically insisted that my diagnostic conclusions were incomplete without a CT scan and a PET scan. Further study seemed way over the top to me but I reluctantly agreed to the pill regime and delayed on the scans since I was lean and fit for my age despite my entire family’s constant battle with heart disease. Fate stepped in with my date for routine cataract surgery which led me to stop my ‘I only take baby aspirin habit for decades now’. One week on the meds, stopping the aspirin for cataract surgery, going back on meds 8 days later eventually caused a sudden stroke in about two weeks. A hospital MRI revealed that plaque in the carotid artery had resulted in left frontal lobe brain damage to the ‘motor’ of the brain. The damage will always be there yet I luckily remain asymptomatic. To quote the attending physicians at St. Joseph “stopping the aspirin probably caused the stroke but the heart meds may have saved me from further permanent damage.” Eventually multiple scans were done at UCLA Harbor which showed three artery blockages plus the bonus of an accidental discovery of a worrisome renal cell carcinoma lesion on my kidney. So much for the illusions of asymptomatic health. Thank you Dr. Ravine for advising me to check deeper diagnostically. I am very much obliged.
